The Ontario Osteopathic Association (OOA)
The Ontario Osteopathic Association (OOA) is a voluntary, not for profit, professional association in Ontario.
It is committed to promoting osteopathic health care to the public, establishing and maintaining standards for safe and effective treatment, mandating accountability, ethical practice, and continuing education amounts its members, and providing a list of practitioners to the public whose training and qualifications are of the highest standard.
The Canadian Academy of Osteopathy (CAO)
The CAO provides the highest level of education in the theory and application of principles based manual osteopathic treatment. Located in Southern Ontario, our college teaches students the mechanical and physiological reasoning behind health problems to help them choose the appropriate osteopathic therapy to address these issues.
CAO Students are taught to think critically and provide rational treatment, enabling themselves to tailor treatment to a patient’s specific needs.
The Canadian Institute of Classical Osteopathy (CICO)
The Canadian Institute of Classical Osteopathy (CICO) is a not-for-profit group of osteopaths who have been trained in the concepts and principles of Dr. A.T. Still, the founder of osteopathy and the American School of Osteopathy in Kirksville Missouri.
